I am certified as a CMA Medlevel 1 (by the Dept. of Health and Senior Services). I am also CPR & First Aid certified. I passed medications and assisted residents with personal care. My duties included a variety of treatments: the administration of medicines and oxygen, providing care to special needs patients (diseases of the aged - including Alzheimer‘s, diabetes, even those who have had tracheotomies). I am also trained in performing “Accuchecks”. At this facility I was also involved in laundry and housekeeping.

Heartland Residential Care (54NE 69 Hwy, Claycomo, MO. 64153) My primary duties included the distribution of medications and aiding residents in their personal care. It has always been important to me to see to the needs of those who cannot take care of themselves. In fact, I find this to be very rewarding on a personal level. Typically, performing a variety of treatments; “Accuchecks” and providing care to special needs patients, were among my function. At this facility I was also very much involved in the preparation of food (per specific dietary requirements). Laundry and housekeeping were among my duties as well.

At this facility; my prime function, was to distribute medications and to assist residents in their daily personal needs. As is always true, it was my privilege to provide care for a variety of special needs patients. My duties also included arranging medical and other miscellaneous appointments; frequently

dietary needs, and housekeeping.

In accordance with my position, I was responsible for the care given to patients by other staff members. Additionally, I distributed medications and aided residents in their personal care. It has always been important to me to see to the needs of those who are unable to take care of themselves. Among my duties were the planning and scheduling of activities for clients, records keeping, medical charting and job performance evaluations. The planning and preparation of meals; keeping in mind special dietary needs, together with overseeing; and frequently participating in; housekeeping and laundry, were also my duties.

I am also experienced with medical terminology, and anatomy.
Word, Excel, and I can type 45 words a minute.
} Customer Service, which frequently includes communicating with patient's families, doctors, nurses, and pharmacies, are among my strong suits.
} I am familiar with reading a chart and the progress notes from working as a nurse.
