this came out of a 1968 Chevy truck, not a dump truck, they named them that because of the stroke a 292 has--4.125-- this is installed in my pull van with a turbo 350 lockup unit gets 20 mpg --up hill down hill--- take that V8 gas hog out install this ,it's like the v8 never left as far as a pull vehicle ,this power band was at 60-70 exactly, no timing chains to wear out this is gear driven engine, Van frt end worn out reason for engine sale, will post pics later. heres a shot of heads i have{new} ------- I DRIVE THIS VAN EVERY DAY FRONT END LEAVING QUICKLY, I WANT TO SELL THIS MOTOR BEFORE I PULL IT I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THEY SIT---------AND RUST----NOT THIS MOTOR,WAY TOO GOOD FOR THAT-------IF YOU HAVE A V8 THAT'S TAKING A BREAK{PUN INTENDED] PUT THIS IN FORGET THE PROBLEM FOR ABOUT TEN YEARS-----ALL THIS MOTOR NEEDS IS THE CHOKE ADJUSTED, COME HEAR IT RUN, YOU'LL WANT IT -----the truck i pulled it from had 92k miles on the odometer--i've drove it all summer,maybe put 4000 more onit,maybe------this motor does not have a timing chain, it is gear driven hence the price-816-242-4068
