German Shorthaired Pointer - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog - Piper
Description
Piper is a 3 year old male GSP and blind in the left eye from cataracts. Piper is our first foster dog, but hopefully not our last. He came to us with a yeast infection in the ears, and an upper respiratory infection. With the help of Midwest Paws Rescue, Piper has received the proper medical careand is recovering nicely. He is getting stronger each day and is a delight to have around. Our goals for our first week with Piper was 1) Help Piper gain confidence as he is a little fearful of people 2)Learn the kennel is a safe place to be, and 3)Become house trained. Pipers confidence is increasing each day as we walk together, with our other GSP Greta. Piper will be given the opportunity to meet other people and animals when the upper respiratory infection is completely gone. Piper is becoming less and less fearful of the kennel. We practice going into the kennel each day. At this point, Piper is only housed in the kennel for short periods of time, and only if there is no one home. Piper is now house trained and does not urinate in the house or try to mark his territory. Yea!!! Piper is fostered in the KC Metro Area. If you are interested in adopting him, please fill out an application at www.midwestpaws.com Thank you!
