Pointer - Large - Adult - Female - Dog - Isis

Isis is a one year old female lab/pointer mix who came to the Lawrence Humane Society as a lost dog. She is a high-energy dog who loves play, physical activity, and being active. She is very friendly and gets along well with both dogs and cats. Older children may do better with Isis, as her energy could be too much for some small children. If your looking for a dog that could compliment an active lifestyle, Isis is for you. Isis was climbing fences when she first came in; however, with a little boundary training, Isis has stocked doing this. Wanting to please, Isis is HIGHLY trainable. Already, Isis knows basic commands. Every dog adoption with the Lawrence Humane Society includes all basic vaccinations (except rabies), a pre-adoption health check, and a free visit to a local veterinarian. You can also choose to have your new dog microchipped for only $15 - a significant savings on valuable peace of mind, especially since Isis is such a gymnast!! An adoption application can be downloaded from our Web site at www.lawrencehumane.org. Please type into all fields and print 2 copies of the form. Sign one copy to provide to the shelter and keep the other for your records. A $50 adoption fee and an additional $60 for the animal's alteration is required.
