Traveler is a 4 to 5-year-old male. This beagle mix came to the Lawrence Humane Society as a stray found in Linwood, KS. Traveler is an independent dog with a high energy level. This dog needs work on his leash pulling, jumping up and wandering. Traveler learns quickly, however, he needs a committed leader to guide him in the right direction. It's quite possible that Traveler has never known what a loving home is. With attention and care, this dog would become a valuable part of the family. Traveler would not do well with cats as he gets too excited. With dogs, Traveler is assertive, but does well when properly introduced. As Traveler is a small dog, his high energy would be fine with children over the age of 5. Every dog adoption with the Lawrence Humane Society includes all basic vaccinations except rabies, a pre-adoption health examination, and a free visit to a local veterinarian.
