Vizsla - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - THOR

THOR is in Texas. Please contact Peggy Ross for more information: Tgcvcrescue@aol.com Thor is a fabulous, active, fun loving 2 yr. old who is a typical busy boy that rough houses around. He can be destructive as V teens can be, but is very good in his crate for several hours at a time. He is a bit pushy, but has a good temperament. He was used to getting treats without doing anything to earn them so he checks my hand to see if I have treats and then moves on. He responds well to no commands IF they are given before he starts the negative behavior. Anticipating a problem behavior while he is still thinking about it is the key. He is an eager learner since he is so food motivated. I have introduced the clicker to him. He plays rough with my other male rescue. Since neither is submissive it can seem too rough. However, Thor will eventually give up and walk away when he has had enough. He was raised with indoor and outdoor cats. Supposedly he is fine with the indoor ones but chases the outdoor ones. I have not tested this on my cats however. I cant have my cats inside because of the other 3 dogs. He was neutered when he was 8 months old and is in good health. He does have an allergy to beef. It gives him hives. He does fine eating foods and treats containing fish, pork or chicken. He will need a Vizsla savvy owner who will train him, give him lots of exercise and likes having a buddy for fun. He seems to be a ladies man.... Likes men, but loves the ladies.........
