Gwen is a sweetheart whose had a tough life. She was a breeder dog for her entire life churning out litter after litter of puppies. We often think of the little dogs when we think of 'puppy mills' but we forget that there are big dogs in this horrible situation as well. Gwen is between 8-10 years of age and she's spent the bulk of her life laying on concrete or rough surfaces. She may not be the most beautiful dog you've ever seen but she is certainly the sweetest and needs just the right home to take her in and give her the love she missed out on for so many years. She is not housebroken as until recently she probably hadn't spent any time indoors in her life. She loves to play with toys and she loves other dogs and does fine with kids and cats although she is very curious about cats. Gwen does need a home where she will be with her owners pretty much all the time, she would not do well being left alone all day while the owner is at work. She does come with 6 months of free day care here at our facility and that may be a way to alleviate the 'owner going to work' problem.Gwen is a SPECIAL dog....we love her very much and we are hoping we can find her a wonderful place to live out the rest of her life in comfort.
