I've been in a boarding facility waiting for a home.  My family got a divorce and the man did not want me or my brother.  Please give me a home.  I will not tear up your furniture and I am potty trained.  I will give you kisses and love when you scratch my back.  I am older then some dogs but I still like to run around and take walks. Please give me a chance.Adopting an older dog is a wonderful thing to do.   I don't know why more people don't adopt older dogs.....older dogs are calmer, they are usually well behaved, don't jump the fence or dig out of the yard, don't tear up your couch, don't potty in the house and don't mind being left alone for hours while you are at work.  They are content to live in pursuit of making their owners happy however they can.Please consider adopting an older dog!   Please consider adopting Basil!If you are interested in Basil, please contact Alice at adelbosque@kc.rr.comBasil in not housed in our facility so please contact Alice if you would like to meet Basil.This is a courtesty post for an individual or group seeking a new home for Basil.  Basil is not part of the PAWS program and PAWS holds no responsibility for this pet.
