Meet Jordan! You cant see well in this picture but this boy has deep blue eyes and he is not deaf! Alot of white cats with blue eyes are. Jordan was found with many other cats in a trailer park. He had blood and pus all over his head. We had NO idea what was wrong with him but he was immediately taken to the vet where they determined that he simply had such a bad case of earmites that he had literally scratched himself bloody and infection was setting in. He is very healthy now except that he has tested positive for FIV. All that means is he needs to be an indoor kitty (all kitties should be anyway) and needs to be an only kitty or live with other FIV+. This guy is the purrfect lap cat/couch potato. He gets along great with other cats and would love nothing more then to be your buddy lap cat. He is so laid back and never tears things up or causes trouble. Wont you give this big boy the chance he deserves? HELP Humane Society is a non-profit, no kill animal rescue. We developed a rescue/foster/adoption program where we foster the animals in our own homes. They are treated like our own pets until suitable loving and permanent homes can be found. Our shelter is located at 511 Main Street, Belton, MO 64012. We are open Tuesday - Friday 1pm to 8pm, Saturday 10am - 6pm, Sunday 12 - 5, and closed on Monday.
