I have for sale a beautiful, made-for-a-princess white taffeta wedding gown from 1985. It looks sort of "Gone with the Wind" style and is made by Alfred Angelo. It has a huge skirt with flouncy ruffled tiers and poofy sleeves that you can let "droop" or stuff them for outstanding poofiness. The top is lace with white aurora borealis sequining and there are tiny buttons in the back. The LONG train was made so it can be buttoned up into a bustle on the back for ease of movement after the ceremony. The matching veil is included. This is a must-see gown! It would be great for those who want a retro feel or a fairy tale feel! It will probably need cleaning, it has been in a box for 23 years. $150, make me an offer, no reasonable offer refused.
We can meet in Independence when my husband gets off work Mon-Fri, or we can meet you in St. Joe. There isn't a size tag that I can find, but I think it's probably a size 5. I think I may try soon to take it to a consignment shop if it does not sell here, so if you're thinking about it, please contact me soon. If you are seriously interested or have any questions, please email or call (816) 351-1868. |
